The Pepper Twist Tea Room This year, we decided to enter the gingerbread contest held at Christmas at the Galt House. This was my first ever attempt to make homemade gingerbread and we ended up winning Elf's Choice! It will be on display there until January 1st, so be sure to check it out!
Pepper Twist the elf
We made a tea room for our favorite elf, Pepper Twist click to follow her on facebook Since Pepper is short for her full name Peppermint, we went with a candy cane theme. If only The Pepper Twist Tea Room was real - I am sure they would have peppermint tea and of course Pepper Twist tea year round!
Sencha Christmas Wreath
Using both gingerbread and rice crispy treat, we constructed a giant teapot that is attached to the tea room complete with a giant candy cane handle. We even used some tea in making the tea room. The light green teacups are dyed with none other than matcha. And the wreath on the door is made with sencha melted into a spearmint candy.
