So we have been hearing a lot lately about the 'green drink' and decided to try one of our own. Green drink are a way to get extra vitamins into your diet, alkalize your system, detox, and to help loose weight. In order to get the full benefits of the vegetables, we made ours without sweet fruits or sugar. We also added the healing power of the antioxidant rich matcha. The vitamins from the vegetables and the caffeine from the matcha are a great way to jump start your day.
Ingredients(2 servings) 1tsp wheatgrass powder, or any other green powder 1 tsp matcha 1 lemon juiced 1 large cucumber peeled and deseeded 1 avocado 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened) ice
Directions Blend all of the ingredients in a blender
add water as needed for desired consistency
If you wish to sweeten, use a handful of your favorite berries or some agave
